It reminds me of a zen poem about a fly that is lured to a rotted piece of meat.
They fly loves the decaying flesh of course, becuase it is a fly. But it was conditioned to be that way. Likewise we are all conditioned to be what we are. But in reality that which we love so much is just our version of that rotted piece of meat.

I talk about meat too much.
