Rainbows........

Dont u love 'em?

Luckily norwich (in england) gets its fair share thanx to the unpredicatble weather. Does the area u live in get to see many rainbows? Ha, they always make me smile.

I just wish I could run up one and look down on the world.

Racing on one would be good too

I heart rainbows, they are so beautiful! mushy

True story about a rainbow that I saw about 15 years ago:

My grandfather had passed away after living on this earth for 89 years (RIP, Gramps, I miss you). My cousin, brother and myself took my grandmother back to her apartment and we were sitting around talking to her. Not sure what day it was, it might have been the day of my grandfather's funeral.

All of a sudden, we looked out the window and saw the most beautiful rainbow ever! It was a double rainbow, that had a huge arch with very vibrant colors, the most vivid colors I've ever seen! We all looked at the rainbow together, and my brother said, "Grandpa is saying hello to us". When my brother made this comment, I was thinking the exact same thing in my head and was going to say it, but he beat me to it.

What's weird is that as soon as my brother made that comment, we could see the rainbow going away. The ends of the rainbow got shorter and shorter, until it was gone. My family and I are convinced that it was a sign from my grandfather, telling us that he was okay.

When I told my mom about the rainbow, she told me that she had prayed to God and asked Him if Grandpa had made it to heaven, if she could have some kind of a sign (she may have even asked for a rainbow, I'm not sure). Looks like she got her wish, I'm only sorry that she couldn't have seen the rainbow as well. That is something that I will never forget, it was really something else.

Okay, all this talk about rainbows has the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" going through my head over here. lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Everytime we have a rainbow around here it's visible through our kitchen window. It's ALWAYS on that side of the house. Guess it cause that's the way the sun shines confuse

I was driving my kid to kindy and took a wrong turn because I was looking at a rainbow so intently redface Could still see it even when we got to kindy.
