Finding your calling or lifes work? I am currently working for a clinical research office. I have a huge problem with drug companies and the way the rip ppl off. So, I have a hard time accepting that my paycheck basically comes from the drug manufacturers, indirectly.
I am just the receptionist/secretary and I am not bringing home the big bucks like my bosses are but it still bothers me. My problem is that where I live there are not many jobs and what I get paid is more then what most pay around here if they were hiring. I do not know what my calling is or my life's work, shall we say. I know it is not what I am doing now. I am worried that I may never figure out what my calling is and waste my life working in these meaningless jobs. I went to a psychic about 7 yrs ago to ask her what my calling was or what type of work she saw me doing. She said she could not tell me, she could not sense anything specific. She said that I could probably do many things but she was not picking up on anything in particular... How do I figure it out?

Moderator | I reckon it'll find you. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Usually, a good way is to ask yourself what you would do with your days if you were economically independent? Even if the answer is something artistic or idealistic, there's usually a chance to find a profession to match it.

here's a great book that has helped me and a group of friends - we were all trying to figure out what to do with the rest of our lives, and we've all made some big changes!
