inspired by Finess' thread about naming his turn tables
(in the non prince music forum), i was wondering if you
guys named your cars, bikes, or anything else like your
stereo's, computers, *or tractors (sigh)*

if you do feel the need to be explicit you can tell us
what you call your privates

I name all my cars. My current car is Camille the Cavalier. Her middle name is Alexis!!!!! And of course all my birds have first and middle names too.

NO, but my co-worker's cars name is JACK.

the guys @ my work started calling my hubby's Escort "Henry" when I was driving it to work (Henry Ford...) and it stuck

My car is Benjamin Armando Saab, with the Spanish pronunciation of Ben-ham-een. I named him en route to Vegas for the Musicology shows. With the top down and driving through the mountains, I felt like I was in a chariot. So I thought of Ben-Hur. Added a Spanish flair, threw on his make as a last name, and viola! I call him Benny.

my cars are always called "the old lady" for some reason. if the car is silver it's "the old grey lady"
old lady models of cars I suppose.

Do I have a name for my usual mode of transportation? Yes, I call it "the Route 49 trolleybus," or just "the bus."
