I went to Wal Mart yesterday and they had really great prices that target can never compete with. Boy, how i love that store especially after donating 25 million to Katrina fund.

yes, and since their merchandise is so cheap, it falls apart almost right away and you get to go shopping there again - and again! touched

Well i don't think razors, deodorant, shampoo, lays potato chips, corn dogs, paper plates and mouthwash can break. Can they?!! I am just playing!!!

That's really not so far-fetched, but then they would have to pull the calendar from their own shelves because it wouldn't support the kind of "family values" they promote. lol

Yeah, that's why I said I would be selling it at Target. The Wal-Mart version of it would have to be all edited. The girl's T&A&P would have to be pixelated out. And then she would have to deal with all of the drunken redneck customers yelling, "Take it off, bitch!"

omg

I can't live with that. I'm selling it at Target.

It's a jungle out there.

no no no! see, she didn't beat me to anything... those guys are still losing their baby fat - you go to bed and *poof* wake up and they are all buff no no no!

oh, and MinnieG said you're a handsome devil. smart, too. but not to tell you or you woul... eek doh! nevamind boxed

What time did MinniG say that?

By the way, I found some more porn for you.

I don't think these guys are in danger of losing any kind of fat - baby or otherwise. And, unless you get buff from lifting potato chips from the bag to your mouth, you have no reason to worry about that either.

i love walmart. They're store is way better than target anyday. I tried to quit walmart for the others but found myself going back. Besides they donated 25 million to katrina fund. What have Target donated. Nothing. Also, no one is forcing those people to work at walmart. They did it by choice.

Actually, Target donated quite a bit. So much so we got a letter from the president thanking us for our efforts. We donated land for the Red Cross, we donated water and supplies, we made monetary contributions and we donated thousands to our employees who lived in the affected areas, ensuring they were abnle to find housing and keeping them on the payroll, finding them work at other locations and so, so much more. More than Katrina, Target gives back over $2 million a week to the community. We have a volunteer council at work where I've easily been able to find opportunities to give more than money back to my community, spending time and effort doing things that matter. That's how I found the little girl I'm helping learn to read every week. It may sound like I've been brain-washed, but after working for the company for 9 years, if I'm gonna work for any huge corporation, I'm proud to work for Target. Not to say we're perfect. But overall, I can still feel good about it.

I didn't have to scour the depths of the internet to find that one. I always keep it handy in case I need it. Usually I don't need it, but thank God you're back online posting more now. nod It reminds me not to delete it anytime soon.

I have to divorce myself from Walmart sigh I've felt guilty for the past few years once I found out what a horrible company they are but I kept going (only periodically for toiletries!) b/c the prices are so friggin' low (which hurts the country too). I can't do it anymore, they're just too dispicable. Gotta pay that extra $2-3 for my laundry detergent I guess sad

They're the only store I can get to after work at night because they're the only 24-hour store in town, and I can't get to any stores before work because of other issues. In fact, I'm going to go there tonight to pick up Star Wars Episode III on DVD. biggrin

Wal-Mart's evil. Without bringing up their practices and how the company president seems to get his jollies from screwing people over, that wave of plastic generic, All-American-even-if-you're-not-American -ness should be enough to convince a person just how much Wal-Mart eats Satan's ass.

Walmart is the only store that forces all items that display the American flag to actually be MADE in America. The news went to Target on the 4th of July and nothing with our flag was actually made in America.

As for the issues raised by the memo...I'm not so sure that cartboy should be a career choice with a lifetime of full benefits. This is what happened in the grocery world and we all pay higher prices because of it.

Lastly people always bitch and bitch about Walmart and how they don't want them in their communities and how shitty it is to work there but everytime they open a store they get 10 times more applicants then they need and everyone in town flocks to shop there. I mean Target is no harder to get a job at but people still choose Walmart to work at.

If people would stop shopping they would be forced to change their policies.
