And now reporting from Emeryville, Ca: DOOK!!! That's right! I made the move from the beautiful Oakland Hills to Emeryville, Ca!!!  It was only about a 15 minute move, but I'm soooo happy with my new place!!!! Here are some reasons:
- There is a giant bar/pool hall about 100 yards away (I will be the local Emeryville drunk from now on). - I'm closer to sosgemini by about 10 minutes. 
- There is an enormous food court about 100 yards away that has about 20 different vendors ranging from Vietnamese food, to pasta, to sandwiches to Afghan food! - There is a free shuttle that takes me to BART (the Bay Area's public transportation system). Now I can BART to SF, get drunk, and not worry about how to get home. - Borders Books is about 100 yards from me. - The movie theater is about 20 yards from me. - I'm paying $100 less in rent. - My apartment is only about 10 years old and very nice. Here's the google map of my place....check out the satellite view - I'm right on the Bay!

The food court is AWESOME!!!
Also, the movie theater is RIGHT across the street from me (it's the building directly south/southwest of me)!!! I LOOOOOVE my new place! | |
