So many of us spend so much time
work so hard
at gaining an education, a degree,
at amassing enough fortune,
enough influence
in hopes of making some kind of difference.

All she did was take one moment
to follow her heart
& she affected history.

Our loss
is Heaven's gain.

Thanx for the front seat, Rosa.

Such a brave and gentle soul...she was so beautiful and soft-spoken...a complete lady...she wasn't the one someone would expect such boldness from...I'm proud that she and her husband decided to call my home town their home for so many years. She was considered a walking treasure here in Detroit...and I'm happy she lived such a long, healthy life and her passing was quiet and peaceful. pray
Thank you, Mrs. Parks.

Very sad to see her go. I worked on a documentary about her for CNN and she had an amazing life with amazing strength. The bus strike was based on her decision and at that time, to stand up to the establishment could have killed her.

Everyone owes her a debt of gratitude: for opening the door for many minorities and for holding a mirror to those who oppressed.

You will be missed, Ms. Parks.

Me too... The one that got me was when she was crying at the opening of her library in Alabama.
