do you like for your bf/gf to hold your hand in public?

well do ya? some people don't feel comfortable with the hand holding situation in public, so i wonder is this a good or bad thing? Me personally, I don't mind it, but can become annoying at times because i'm not a public touchy feely person in general....what about you guys?
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

My last boyfriend pulled his hand away from me when I reached out subconsciously, so I finished him.

I'm not really into PDA either....I don't mind others holding hands and showing their affection for each other. I have a limit though as to how much I can take. I just wasn't raised with affection, I guess *cue the violins* giggle

I grew up without it and wishing for it..watching my bestfriend's family being close..made me want it for my family when I started one...

I've always hold my partner's hand in public. It's a subconcious thing. I know some guys object to it suggesting there's some stigma attached to it being a soft thing to do. To me it suggests you're proud of being seen with your partner and are affectionate towards them.

I think holding hands or an arm around each other is sweet. It usually makes me smile when I see a couple like that. (gay or straight). But I really get grossed out when people are all over each other, licking each other's tonsils and worse. hmph! I mean get a room!

Again, I think some guys see it as being 'soft' or shows signs that they are insecure. Some guys even don't like admitting showing any effection to their partner at all.

After the intensely negative reaction I got in my own hand-holding thread a month ago, I have become completely reformed. I not only link hand with my wife when we got out, I now tie a string around our legs so we can do a three legged race as we walk together.

I feel quite sorry for those that can't "PDA" with the ones you love.
confuse If you're that that uptight with your partners, do you really love them?
