educational or artistic ones
i dont have a kid, but for my baby niece (more like baby sister ) whenever i go travelling, most recently to new york, i buy her books so she'll have tons to read when she gets older i also got her this young artist set filled with watercolour pencil crayons, crayons, paints and paintbruses (with proper paper) from the Guggenheim i want to be able to get her in2 the arts...not force her, but let her know it exists and give her more options i wanna be able to finger paint with her and make cards from cheerios and all that cute stuff i don't buy her toys, i buy her books and art stuff. My daughter loves/loved BRATZ for year...now she's designing/sewing clothes for the ones she has...and just designing/making stuff!...
A sewing machine a good "toy" for a 13 year old girl, I suppose...as well as, patterns and fabric and materials to create fashions... ...And duct tape!...Lots of duct tape, every color!...My daughter makes purses and belts and other REALLY cool accessories with duct tape!...

Karaoke
She wants a guitar and asks for more MUSIC She complains about her dance teacher because it's not enough fun I send her smurf, she loves books. She loves french games for kids but windows in hebrew does not fit She loves Backgammon She wins her father at chest I teach her french, she studies english and live in Israel (hebrew) France is poor in imagination for kids (big firms own all the market) So we buy on internet (wood stuffs, animals, ) My daughter hates Barbie cuz too many people told her she was "looking like a barbie". She never wanted one, owns yasmine from the Brats, wants a hairy thing (f.. expensive !!!), still loves Pokemon. But music is HER stuff. I named her Shir- El (the song to/of God) And her screaming when she was borned was terrific. All people said : she'll be a singer. So I named her Shirel, as MRS SCHMUTT.

I ask my nieces and nephews what they would like, ignore it, and get them something educational.

Sometimes pure fun is good : for her 1rd birthday, I bought her a trampoline (huge plastic thing). I was taking it to my part time job with older kidds as well. She has a special pink rabbit very soft, big, she can hug (she uses to tell me the secrets of each doll).
She takes it everywhere she goes. It's Lapinou and in hebrew, Arnavi. Her room is so clean, stuffed are so in order... She's so cold sometimes... She loves money !!! She frightens me sometimes because she's very spolied like almost all children of divorced parents. She always tells me she's bored, and she live 2 mns from a basket ball ground, swimming pool. Well, I was so bored there too...

YOU have a kid? I don't know why that surprises me, but it does! Hmm... Well, my son likes Lego's Bionicles or games for X-Box or Nintendo DS. He also likes microscopes and science kits. But yesterday he asked if he could have an Easy Bake oven I AM BEATLOAF

You're mean. I like your shoes, tho'. You're not having those either. So dont even try to give me that "let me compliment the shoes first and then ask to borrow them" line.

If you do that I will have no choice but to remove your Gonads with a very sharp instrument and pickle them in vinegar.
