I just adore it. Very addictive !!!
Zoo tycoon as well

But men usually don't like this kind of games.

A colleague at an old job told me about it when he used to play it. Apparently he'd started painting gnomes and kept a couple starving to death in a shed!

Well, that might be the excuse for locking them in there. Either that or because they became lethargic after a 15 hours shift at the 7/11. All seems overtly harsh to me!

I was addicted to it for like a year. Then after getting all the expansion packs and doing everything it got boring. I have the sims 2 but lately with my schedule I don't even have the time to play. The ps2 version is nothing like the PC one... I never got into the ps2 one so it just collected dust in my room althought the pc version is good times. If you get sims online even fucking better.

I have been addicted, on and off, for going on five years now. I have the original Sims with two expansion packs: house party and living large. I received The Sims 2 last year for Christmas and it's absolutely lovely. I even post on TS2 message boards. I consider myself to be close to an expert but haven't done the legacy challenge yet. I need a faster computer for that. nod

I also realize this isn't something I should be bragging about. lol

There's a hilarious chapter on the Sims in Chuck Klostermans' book Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs. I nearly shit myself laughing!

I used to play Sim City - very addictive - ages ago and recently read an article on how these computer games can be GOOD for kids and accepted as a new artform for this century. The article talked about a similar game where you are God and have to keep your worshippers happy or you start losing them. But you have the powere to smite them evillol

I might like to get addicted again hmmm

TMPletz

I installed it about 3 or 4 years ago. I played it one night. I uninstalled it the next day.

A lot of the stuff you have to do on there is hard enough to get accomplished in real life, so I lost interest in it really really fast. razz
