Am watching this movie just now...LOVE the opening scene with Drew Barrymore...and, particularly...

We women love to flirt, but why did she, Casey(Drew) not call 911 at the first sign of something sinister...(like, the second phone call to her home...as the "wrong number"...???)...

Why didn't she get pissed off to the fighting MAX???...OK...Then, if I had seen my boyfriend strapped to a chair on my patio...(MF, It's ON now!!!)...I would have run to my kitchen(no mention of a gun) and grabbed the two biggest knives I had in my house...!...then run out there to him---cut him loose---and armed him as well. I kick-box, but, if the killer had attacked me in the midst of this and somehow succeeded in killing me after all, the police would damn sure wonder what the hell kind of cat fight "the killer" got into with world's Rachael McLish!!!...or, you know...

But, I've never been assaulted/attacked...and this only is what I feel I would do...

Fun movie. The opening scene is the best in the movie. It accomplishes nothing that hasn't already been done in many other horror movies, but it does it so well. I'm glad they played up the scares as much as the horror, otherwise it would've ended up being just another Return to Horror High. I like the second Scream as well. But the third one? Stinky.

I get over zealous when I catch the beginning of the movie 'Cliffhanger' as well!...lol...(Don't know the rest of the movie, I'll admit)...Sylvester Stalone is begging the woman to "Reach up!!!"...I'm yelling/pleading with her at the same time to do the same thing.
