Rufus Wainwright sings on Burt's new album and he's in the audience, so I presume he's going to sing.

Does anyone remember when the BBC ran an interactive vote last year to get either Prince, REM or U2 (forgot the others ) on the show? There was a thread in 'Prince:Music' to get Org.ers' votes.
I think Prince just edged it in the end .....but like there was really a fat chance of seeing him on Jools Holland "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

Burt's new stuff sounds like Xpectations. I kid you not. It's a bit out-there.
He dissed Dionne Warwick's version of "I Say A Little Prayer" as being a demo and said that he never wanted it released. He said that the song belonged to Aretha. Rufus sang on two songs: "Go Tell Shakespeare" and "Message To Martha". Odd that he didn't use the "Michael" lyric instead of "Martha", but there you go. Here's the Press-Release for Burt's new album: http://biz.yahoo.com/prne....html?.v=3 and here's an interview with the Independent : http://enjoyment.independ...312673.ece Yes, I've realised that this is in the wrong forum! .
