Well, as one who used to spend a LOT of time here (I was in grad school and used this place as a break/escape), and now is RARELY here, I do think this site can be used in an unhealthy way. Just as so many other things can be....

I think it becomes "sad" when you use the internet to replace daily social interaction. When you repeatedly stay inside on a gorgeous day to "chat" with people you've never met (and quite likely never will), rather than going outside and walking/biking or calling up a real-life friend to hang out with. Staying in to be online once in awhile isn't a big deal, but I get the feeling that some people like the controlled atmosphere of the online "relationship"--it's all very cerebral, you can create a world in your head--and use it to avoid reality.

I've met one Orger in person and have spoken on the telephone with many, and I think it's very cool to bring the screen into reality. I've used online sites to meet guys and date, too, and I think it's great to help make initial connections. But I truly believe that it's a mistake to use the internet to alienate oneself from the outside world, which is right there asking you to participate.

I think your ex is jealous and u should forget her. For ten years I never knew anyone who loves Prince or understood what Prince meant to me so finally chatting and getting to know other like minded people has been great! If it wasnt for the org I wouldnt have met my best friend Susannah and I wouldnt know about the London Party,

My soulmate has to be out there somewhere to and he would have to be a Prince fan so u never know who u can get chatting to with the Org...OK yes im a sad bastard!

shucks my boyfriend makes fun of me for loyally checking this site...i just tell him whatever and keep on going...besides he's jealous of prince anyway...anything he says about prince or anything relating to him is just negative because he knows that i worship the man.
