my recent ex girlfriend told me i was a "sad bastard" for having a good number of friends on this website?....are we all sad bastards for spending our time on a soulless website or is she just trying to press my buttons?

I have friends who mock me for coming here, because it's a Prince site...

I do not think this site as "soul less". How would she know anyway...she isn't on here.

Friends have called me a nerd. And actually travelling to an invasion is just going too far. Meanwhile these friends sit in front of the TV absorbing all the garbage thats being pumped out. They are so stupid at times. Like sheep. They make me so mad at times.

People on this site are some of the most loving, giving wonderful folks I have ever had the pleasure of encountering.
Soul-less just because we can't be together physically all the time? Hardly.

If your around my age, live in my area, love Queen and puppies...send me an orgnote. My soulmate is out there somewhere.

I don't think we're sad bastards for coming here, but in the past I have fallen into that category when I've had too much time on my hands and have been here for hours at a time. When my life is out of balance, as it has been on occassion, then I'll accept that label, but I've always maintained a social life outside of the Org.

I've taken to believing that connecting with people can happen lots of different ways and this is just one of them. I've learned things through being here, through interacting with people I wouldn't usually get to know.

So, your friend is entitled to her beliefs but I can't say I share them.

oh, and I don't think this place is soulless.
