I just made this... A compilation CD...
Its for a good workmate, who specifically asked for some whacked out stuff. And seeing as though he is a fan of post-rock pretention I have slapped on some additional 'movement' sections and a groovily pretentious title to boot. And here it is... …And in the end they carved out his soul with lead and steel, for his fire burnt too bright *Contentment…* 1. Popol Vuh: Morgengruss 2. Gila: This Morning *The fire awakens* 3. Dungen: Panda 4. Comets On Fire: Whiskey River 5. Earlies: Morning Wonder *Speckles of light obscured by doom…* 6. Oceansize: Women Who Love Men Who Love Drugs 7. Bark Psychosis: Game Over *Loneliness in togetherness…* 8. Joanna Newsom: Peach, Plum, Pear 9. Anthony & The Johnsons: What Can I Do? *Blinded by waves of confusion* 10. Mahavishnu Orchestra: Vital Transformation 11. Perigeo: Tamale *The prophecy of the machines – finality* 12. Neu!: Isi 13. Dusseldorf: La Dusseldorf 14. Rock Of Travolta: Clique Rock *No more shall you cast a shadow* 15. Silver Mt Zion: Sit In The Middle Of Three Galloping Dogs Eighth release of Volume One in the ‘Guide to Glory’ Series. Produced, compiled and mastered by Pete the Chief, exclusively for PG Records 2005 That's the cover ... This is the back cover, ace pic me thinks and goes with the title of the compilation... "Art calls for complete mastery of techniques, developed by reflection within the soul."

OH MY GOD! Finally someone who likes Antony and the Johnsons. The lead singer knew my best friend. He's from Los Gatos, California(San Francisco Bay Area-South near San Jose). He used to work at Jack In The Box in Campbell. Boy George and Lou Reed are huge fans of his.
Very cool. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits" | |

Ah the A&J's fan club is wide and all encompassing. Many people like him you know, they just haven't heard him yet.
Shame about Mr George's latest escapes though. Do you like any of the other tracks? Fxx "Art calls for complete mastery of techniques, developed by reflection within the soul."
