I believe in Intelligent Design

Nigella Lawson's cookware is so gorgeously designed, I just want to sit in the kitchen and touch her measuring cups for hours. Very smart design.

Is anyone else a whore for well-designed stuff? I can't go into a Target these days without walking out carrying a huge cart of fabulously designed...STUFF. redface

I even love the target 'design' commercial. I love the song they use.

I'm such a corporate whore. What will I do when I actually find a new job and lose my discount?

did you see that huge spread target had in an issue of the new yorker over the summer, where a bunch of different artists each did a full page target ad? sounds like it would be obnoxious, but the art was AMAZING. i hope i still have that copy of the new yorker, i was actually gonna cut out those ads...and do WHAT with them, i don't know! lol

I heard about it, but I never saw it. pout
I really, really do love our advertising and design. I love our newer partnerships with folks like Isaac Mizrahi and Cynthia Rowley et al. It's been a fun company to work for over the last few years. We're doing such fun stuff. It's a shame I hate my current position.

Oh, I'm getting much better. I only go a few times a month now. There was a time I was going at least once a week if not more. My friends and I finally had to turn it into a game. When we all go together, whoever comes out spending the least amount of money wins. I almost never win, even with my discount. redface

oh! And the SuperTargets are absolutely DIVINE! The natural foods and veggie option section stuff costs WAY less than our regular grocery stores. And they have all sorts of yummy asian food stuff you normally have to go to an asian grocery for.

we have a pretty super target near where i live, but i don't know if it's a "proper" supertarget. it's got two floors and one of those funky escalators that has a set-up for your cart to go with you (love that!). i'm loving their dish soap/cleanser brand with the funky scents, and their seasonal decoration stuff is always the coolest. nod

Hopefully Target will finally get rid of that awful Michael Graves Design crap. I swear to god, that guy is even designing pretentious looking dog toys. Like dogs really give a shit. His crap is always on the clearance rack a month later, lol.

Nice cookware! I just recently got some new coffee cups at Target and I think they are by the same designer. They're green glaze with a black inside. Love em!

I do most of my toy shopping at Target. They usually get the Marvel Legends action figures before everyone else, and they have really cool Star Wars exclusives from time to time!

I had a SuperTarget near my old digs, and MAN do I miss it! I just have an old-school store near my house now.

I love their Infomercial section too, you get to see all that stuff up close without having to risk ordering it in the mail. Their fake flower arrangements kick ass too.
