Trendy Dad Not every Dad's Homer Simpson nor Bob Marley for that matter. But just how trendy is your Dad? My Dad's pretty hip. He's into the Arcade Fire at the moment and he's got a Trojan records t-shirt too. He certainly doesn't act like your typical old fogey. . What about yours?

my dad's pretty old-school...he never dresses up or anything like that, he's pretty much a shirt-and-jeans kinda guy.

My dad was one of the coolest cats u ever wanted to meet,if he snapped on you it means he liked you, what u had to be careful of is when he was quiet.my dad taught me everything i knew, especially the education of Pam Grier and Tamara Dobson

My dad is 73 years old and looks like he's "fifty years old". He dresses pretty casual. He's kind of a "modern Mexican".

Ex-Moderator | My father is likely the least trendy person I know. Except possibly my mother and my brother. My family members would never, ever be considered hip or 'with it'.
I'm also the only person in the family to have traveled so much, to live in the city, the only one with red hair... we joke that I'm the milkman's kid. It's crazy to think how little I have in common with my relatives, immediate family included. |

My dad turned 54 this past August. He's your pretty average 54 year old, except not too long ago he went through this "I gotta be young and hip" phase, where he was dying his hair to hide the gray. You're 50....you're gray.....people know, so stop trying to front. And he'd always get me or my brother to burn him mixed cds featuring popular music.....like Usher, R. Kelly, Beyonce, and so on. Seeing a 50 somethin' year old man sing along to Usher's "My Boo" is just scary.....and funny. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

My dad was the dentist in a small country town and he was always wearing a baggy in the bum tracksuit down the street. My mum's frends would call her and ask how on earth did she let him out of the house dressed like that he is a shocker.

My Dad is 71.....usually looks like a bum ...It's a misson to get him to dress up to go out to dinner grrr.....and tight with his money ...I'm not even gonna go there....lol..the only time he gets clothes is when I buy them for his birthday, fathers day or xmas....kinda sad really ....he has no life but oooh hes saving his money to take it to his grave [Edited 10/18/05 19:14pm]

My dad pretty much always dressed casual. Jeans and a buttoned down collared shirt most of the time. Add on a sweater in the winter.
I miss my dad. | |

nobody in my family has any sense of style, and neither do i. but it beats my father-in-law, who wears some of the most atrocious plaid shirts, high-waisted pants and bola ties...

I don't know if I'd say trendy, but he can look very nice. For the most part he wears "dungarees" and a tshirt...no lie that's what he calls them! When he goes out he knows how to dress. He's been cutting his hair too short though.
