For example..."gangsta", "pimpin", callin someone "cuz" and "blood".
Do they know what it means? What it stands for? How they look in public saying these things?

It is slang, and YOU have turned into your parents when you drove them crazy saying the slang you grew up with. I don't use this modern day slang as I am not connected to it, but I do acknowledge it as some of the most creative communications ever contrived, but yes, the violence and its connotations can be a detriment to progress and perpetuate stereotypes. So where is it I stand...firmly behind it, but will never allow the youth in my midsts to use it unless it actually applies to them. I cannot turn a gangsta into whatever mainstream stigma society will deem as acceptable if they don't wish to live that way. To each his own, and if you are a thug, just know the potential consequences of your actions. This is what I tell my students. And there is NO TURNING BACK FROM DEATH...so walk your path with awareness and pride at the same time.

I was in a Dr. office with my 84 yr-old Grandmother and this 14yr old white boy who had gold fronts and was with his brother said to me, a female, what is up my nigga!!! I told him get his ass to the parking lot because he was about to get fucked up!!!


The staff put them out off the office and they looked so embarrased and they said that shit in front of my Grandmother!!!!

I told their Moms you need to teach your kids some damn manners and she said, well Blacks say nigga to each other anyways!!! I told her I would kick her pasty ass too!!!!
