I have had 3 macs so far at home and 3 or 4 at work, and I've called them all Robot Buddy or Happy Mutant. Once I did have one called Killer Bob.

Where a friend of mine works all the computers on the network are named after horrible people the server is called Adolf, there's one called Pol Pot and one called Idi Admin (which is used by the admin guy).

I named mine Chocobo when I set it up, although I never call it that.

once at work I made my computer's username "some chick" when I set it up and completely forgot. So once there was a queue to print and it came up on everyone else's screen much to their confusion. I saw it and (still not remembering I had called it that) thought the computer was making some kind of judgemental comment about me!
I'm SO glad I never named it fuck-knuckle-sandwich which had been my first choice
