give one fourth to charity? give one fourth to friends or family? invest one fourth in a business venture? spend one fourth on services? Okay folks, here's an example: Charity - 1 million to Amnesty, 1.5 to Unicef Friends or family - 2 million to mom, 0,5 million to cousin Kenny Business venture - the whole shebang on Taco Bell shares Services - Everything on prostitution . mmkay? I would pay off my bills. I'd give my mom $1 million, give charity $1 milllion and invest the rest. $10 million isnt enough for me to quit school or work. Im still a young lad.

I would:
give one fourth to charity give one fourth to friends or family invest one fourth in a business venture spend one fourth on services happy? These rules are a bit restrictive IMO

The rules say one fourth to each area. And a cadillac is not a service. Whatever. I'll let this thread die now.

Charity:
Don't have a specific one at the moment but it would benefit children in some way. Friends & Family: My immediate family is obvious. My best friend would get quite a $100K Xmas present. Business Venture: A world class recording facility/company devoted to the production and distribution of material by artists that have the same tastes in music as I do. Services: This remaining 2.5 mill would be put into an investment vehicle that would return at least 10% per year. The interest generated ($250K yearly) would be devoted to the "services" that would keep me alive (food, shelter, transportation, etc.) and without a job for the rest of my life. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 [Edited 10/17/05 17:05pm] "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Thanks, man. You're welcome. But how is using an investment "service" cheating? tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I would put the 1/4 into a charity account, so that every year the interest could be split between a number of purposeful charities for years to come.
I would do the same with another 1/4 for friends and family I would start 4 business ventures with another 1/4 I would set up a company, and again use the interest from the final quarter to be used purely for the needs of local services, and could then be free to move with the times. Mada, Yeah thats me. AND WHAT

Ex-Moderator | retina said: CarrieMpls said: It was a good effort. Thanks. Now that theAudience has revived it, maybe you can post your answer? . oh fine. charity - various, probably most to AIDS charities and charities for children. I'd like to count political contributions here (not to candidates, but to causes), but I'm not sure that counts. family and friends - it'd be split up a buncha different ways between about 20 friends, my parents and my brother's family business venture - I'd start my own business. Potentially a magazine, a boutique (that sells my own creations among other things), or an event/party planning business. spend one fourth on services - I'd probably go away to a spa for a few months, and the rest would be spent on travel, restaurants and pedicures. |
