... conjunctions.

I'm preparing an introductory lesson on subordinating conjunctions ,and I've hit a bit of a road block.

The idea of it all is the kids will have sentence fragments on strips of paper and they will have to connect the strips with cards that have when, if, after, and because on them.

Ex.

I would be really good at basketball if I was a little taller.

The thing is I need about 20 sentences and I can only think of about five.

Could you guys help me come up with sentences that contain when, if, after, and because?

It would be a huge help and I promise to give a really cool sticker to everyone who helps out, possibly even a halloween pencil with a monster eraser.

Just remember I have 5th graders. No naughty stuff now!

This thread would have been better if it were about Zelaira or dating black men.
