She had her gall bladder out and is having major complications related to that - violent reactions to food, internal bleeding, fever. She seems to be pretty stable, but sometimes things change very quickly. She's only able to eat about 5 different things without getting totally sick. I'm worried cuz this is her 4th time in the hospital now in a year and a half. I thought about starting a thread asking for prayers and advice. Maybe I will.

My week was emotionally draining as well... work presented me with a hard reality case. Child abuse.

It took me back to a time I remember well... and it was difficult to be in a all too familiar place. Society is disappointing, especially at times like this... when a beautiful innocent soul is looking you straight in the face and 'so called people' are enacting as good caring parents. I was relieved to see Thursday come... spend time with my aunt (who is still here visiting), went to the state fair today (all for my aunt)... ~I survived ~.

I feel strong within myself... and a feeling of closeness with someone who is too far. Missing... but feeling fortunate 100%.

i hurt myself...bruised my tailbone and i'm getting on an 8 hour plane ride in 2 weeks. it better feel better by then!!!!

Yesterday I worked all day and started knitting a pair of legwarmers. Today I had an eye appointment and spent my next paycheque on a new pair of glasses and sunglasses. Not having insurance sucks! Then I went to Circuit City and looked at the camera of my dreams for a while. I had work after that and I just got home and ate dinner. Tomorrow I have off so I'm going to lie around all day! Knit and sew and spend time with my sister, mom, and dog. Maybe see a movie.
