Well... I only visited the lingerie and juniors department. The lingerie looked the same as always but they had moved the juniors department around. Before that whole area was women's/juniors/athletic but now it's more of a mishmash of women's/juniors/plus size. I did like this layout better but wish the signs were more exact regarding what was on sale. (e.g. one table had a few different styles of long sleeved shirts but only one sign indicating one of the types of shirts was on sale. My questions were, which shirt WAS on sale? and were the others on sale too, since they were also on the table? ) And I HATE how the employees push to open a Mervyns account, though I understand that they have to. I used to shop at Mervyns ALL of the time, then stopped while I was in college because the store wasn't that great. It kind of took a turn for the worst. But I was very pleased with my recent excursion! I did not expect to find or buy anything when I went but I found the jeans I needed (they had SHORT too, which are hard to find), for really cheap, and inexpensive long underwear (cotton/poly), which are hard to find and usually pretty pricey. The store now has the price scanners for customers too, and a kickass 24hour hold feature.
