i don't see why people like cats so much. i had one, and i swear id never even saw the damn thing half the time...i just knew he was around by the turds in the kitty litter. My dogs, on the other hand, jump up and down when i come home from work, always want to play and like to sleep at the foot of my bed.

I am with you!
Dogs Rule!!
I also agree with your signature!

My 3 dogs use the doggy door to go out and go potty. Cats urinate inside and when they do, there is no getting that stench out of your carpet or furniture.

I used to have cats and I like my dogs much better. I do not miss the litter box or the walking on the kitchen counters...

I love my dog. I cant live without my dog.

He doesnt poop on the carpet, hardly drools, he listens, and is in a good mood 99% of the time. Ok so he sheds like crazy and is over protective.

Cats are moody, lazy, and it seems like they always have some type of worm YUK!!!

Oh please, fool! Please!!

I love dog's personalities. They love you unconditionally.

But cats are more my speed. Plus cats are bobbing in the delusion that you are actually more than you reall are--just one of their servents.

Dogs jump on you, lick you and tear up your house. Cats just chill and keep to themselves. They are very clean, while dogs would eat their own shit.

I like dogs but I don't want one. Too high maintenance.

But I love cats. I always had a cat in the house since I was 5. They are clean, cool and independent. just like me. biggrin And my cat greets me when I come home too. My house ain't a home without a cat in it.

i grew up with dogs and they shed, poop on the carpet, and love to drool all over people. if i wanted that in my life, i'd get married.

i much prefer cats. they do their own thing, they're neat, and every once in a while they'll come over and check in and give a little love. much more my speed.

awwwww biggrin

I like dogs more, because they seem more happy to be around you. Like they love you so much.

I've lived with both all my life, and cats are generally better. It just depends on the personality of the cat. My favorite cat comes up to the door when anyone comes home, meows at me if I talk to her, and is usually up for being snuggled. The other cat is a bit standoffish (because she was feral when she was young, i guess), likes to hide, and you've got a 50/50 chance of being snapped at if you pet her.

Reminds me of the cat that belonged to the roommate of my girlfriend in college...very pretty black and white cat, but standoff-ish. One time while waiting for my gf to return home, I was sitting in their apartment, and the roommate's cat climbs up on the couch and sits on my lap, purring...since this cat is hardly ever friendly, I took it as a good sign, and started petting it. It looked content and comfortable, and I enjoyed feeling like it wanted some affection instead of acting like it hated the entire world.

After a few minutes, the cat looked up at me, and I stared back down at it while petting its back...I smiled...lowered my face towards it by about an inch...and the fucker reached up and swatted me across the face, putting two gashes in my cheek with its claws. It then jumped down and went into hiding.

I'm assuming that the cat had experienced some serious abuse when younger (it was from an animal pound) and was reliving a moment of its past...but damn, that hurt... lol

omg Poor Byron. hug

I'm allergic to cats and once I was staring at one and it attacked my face mad My uncle's wife's cat would sometimes sneak onto the living rooms rug and she would scream "HEY!" and it would jump off and run away. lol

Actually dogs can get worms too . My family had a dog once a loooong time ago that got worms; we had to take her to the vet to get her some meds to get rid of it. ill
