could a studio get away with releasing "the exorcist" today?

in protest of yet another lame pg-13 remake being released today (the fog)...i'm just wondering if in today's PC climate could a movie like the original exorcist be released to a wide market? juicy parts like a young teenage girl stuffing herself with a crucifix, and saying "let Jesus fuck you" and telling a priest that "his mother sucks cocks in hell"...i just don't see it happening. sad

BTW..anybody remember the SNL skit with Richard Pryor as the Exorcist? that shit was classic lol

my favorite 'exorcist' take-off was the one on MADTV where penny marshall was the mom and rosie o'donnell was linda blair lol ....and arnold schwarzenegger was the exorcist. falloff
