Why does my eyelid occasionally twitch uncontrollably?
Sometimes part of your eyelid may twitch for several minutes or hours. An involuntary twitching of a muscle is called Myokymia. Myokymia of the eyelid can occur with stress, lack of sleep or too much caffeine. Occasional twitching of an eyelid usually disappears by itself and does not indicate a serious problem unless it persists or extends to other parts of the face.

Its called stress....
ease off the computer. make sure to get some quiet time....
make sure you are eating a good breakfast hug
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

When I get sick, my piercings get mad. So I take them out (temporarily). I didn't put two and two together until a piercer told me it's common for piercings to get sick when you get sick. Makes sense.

Ooops, there I go again, reading everything wrong.

I thought you said your brown eye was twitching. I was on my way over and then I read it right, so I went back home. I'm only an expert with brown eyes not your left one.

Its eye strain.. stop looking at your computer..... It can be caused from stress, glare from computer, reading in low light...

I get it all the time, especially when i am stressed out!

That happened to me for a couple of months. It started when I slept in my contact lenses while camping. Woke up very uncomfortable and my eye started twitching every once in a while.

It went away eventually, and it wasn't really visible, I just felt it. I think it's stress & self consciousness, because it happen ed a lot while talking to people.
