Our cat is missing... Taz, our cat, has been missing since sunday night. i've searched the neighborhood... nothing. he's not one to miss a meal, so it's unusual for him not to come home. 
i'm worried that somebody picked him up as a "halloween cat" - there's always a concern that black cats vanish around Halloween. our Humane Society doesn't adopt out black cats in October. please keep your black cats inside if you can, and keep your fingers crossed that Taz is ok...  | |

I owned a black cat for years and years. He was the sweetest animal anyone could own. He dissapeared while I was in basic training and I haven't forgiven my parents till this day. | |

I'm not telling this story to rub it in but it was pretty amazing all the same.....
My friend had a cat for about 5 years and one day he just vanished. day after day, week after week, month after month no sign. Then one night I was staying over and I was in the bedroom closest to the driveway. I was awoken by the loud ass meows and I heard my friend sream in the darkness "Hon!" and then I heard the door open and her sobbing in the driveway. After 8 months, he came back 
I hope that Taz is OK baby Don't Kiss The Beast.....Be Superior at least.

I hope Taz finds the way home! Many years ago one of my cats disappeared for nearly month before finding her way home. Hopefully Taz is just off on a grand adventure and will be home soon! | |

ohhh, poor taz...my very first pet was a black cat that i had when i was about 5...i named her "fortune". she gave birth to 7 kittens in my mom's kitchen closet. the only thing i remember happening to 'em was that animal control came to get all of the cats, fortune and all. i still remember hearing the kittens meowing inside of the animal control van.
i got this tattooed on my upper left arm 2 years ago as a tribute to fortune and her children; it's an edward gorey drawing. | |

i hope you find your cat. I worry about my cat sometimes and when i do i always think about how she lived on the street for a year before i met her and if she can survive anything.
i think that it's the same with Taz. he will come back to you again. | |
