Only if the battery power is at least ten times as good as the regular iPods. Plus, it needs compatibility with external batteries. I'm sick of letting that stupid little machine dictate when and for how long I get to listen to music. | |

No, because the battery life won't be what they say, and for the size of the screen, the unit is too big.
Plus, I can't buy anything Apple at the moment since they're releasing a new fucking update to each product line every other week. I hope other people believe this too and give apple a good kicking by not buying anything and waiting for the next one  | |

that, and i'm just going to wait till there is a lot more video stuff available for it. and until it's got game modus. you just know that's going to be the next step heheh. but even if not, i'd rather have an ipod with even more capacity than a video one right now. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

if i had the money for it i would buy it just so i could download LOST and watch them whenever i wanted. i could definitely see the attraction for people who commute on public transportation for quite a distance every day. | |

i'm gonna wait until they put out a thin nano size that will hold 20,000 songs, along with television broadcasting, and an FM tuner....then it should be capatible enough for me to post in my car which should do away with the radio, and cd changer as well as take with me on boring road trips, conferences, church... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

The thing is, all (big) iPods are video iPods now. Video is just another feature (like storing photo's (previously iPod Photo), playing games or whatever), that many people will never or rarely use. What it will do is increase the capacity and battery life for those of us who simply want to listen to music with it. And since the price remains the same as before, the iPod is now a better deal than ever before. So i'm seriously considering it.
Also, i'm sure there will be a market in the future for downloading video content and transporting it on a handheld device, and it's good to see that Apple is innovating in that direction also. Finally, maybe Apple got simply fed up with all the haters who complained that the iPod couldn't play video. Well, now it can. The only reason to hate on the iPod now is because you don't have one yourself. "It's better 2 B hated 4 what U R than 2 B loved 4 what U R not."

It would be GREAT for public trans, & for the lunch hour  or while waiting @ the doctor's office or on the treadmill @ the gym 
Granted, all of this makes us all less social  but I'm kinda antisocial anyway
