Turn Ons:

* Strength (Physical, Mental,Spiritual, Intellectual)

* Articulation/Intelligence

* Raw Masculinity (like Tarzan or The Rock giggle) and very protective of me.

* Independent Thinker/Non-conformist

* Very unique and Individualistic

* Respectful

* Intense about Life

Turn Offs:

* Too wimpy or wishy-washy

* Closed off emotionally

* Men who use vernacular/ teen jargon

...like "get my (insert verb-turned-noun here) on" as in get my sleep on, get my drink on, get my dance on." I never will forget when I was in the mall with a guy I adored about five years ago and we passed a lingerie shop and he saw a bustier he wanted me to get. He said "You'd look like the bomb in that." Excuse me? The bomb. How old are you? I like sophisticated men. He could have just say you'd look amazing or hot. Adults should not use vernacular. On the Internet it's fine, but in real life-- HATE IT

* Doesn't know how to be strong and commanding ... and thus can't fit into my POWER couple ideal.

* Dumb.

(I swear one man referred to women as having sperm. I stared at him for a long time silently... in the way that Nick stared at Jessica when she said "i know it's tuna but it says chicken ...chicken of the sea."

I literally could not believe my ears. I mean I knew he wasn't brilliant, but he was strong and sexy and worshipful of me. But sperm? Dude, women don't have sperm. You're fired. and tired...

* Men I have tell how to please me in bed.
If I have to say deeper or harder then that's our last night together. Do some field research before you get to me. I don't want to teach a little boy. The worst is a big masculine man who is a p---y in bed. I hate that shit. It's false advertising. If I want you to be all gentle and concerned about hurting me, I'd date a woman.

Women love men who are financially well off or have power. Women claim they want equality but they really want and get turned on by men who are more powerful than them. It's no less shallow than guys who want great looks in a woman.

Your world maybe...

I know lots of people who are very ambitious and know exactly what they want, but still don't earn any significant amounts of money. I know those types of men aren't as much appreciated by most women as those who just happen to earn/have money for whatever reason though. To each their own. shrug

I never said that you have to make a lot of money, but there are a lot of men in today's world that aren't even concerned about making ANY money. They'd rather live at home with their parents and basically be slackers. YUCK!! I'm sad that a lot of men today aren't interested in being strong or responsible anymore.

So strong + responsible = ambition to earn money? I just don't agree with that. Just because you don't prioritize money in life doesn't mean you want to live with your parents and be a slacker. You're getting these things totally mixed up.

No, but for christ's sake, at least have a job. And by they way, you don't have to agree with me, but I live in an area where you have to be earning a fair amount of money to survive. I've seen so many men lately who just don't care about their future. Do you own your own home? Do you rent? Do you buy food for yourself? Do you drive a car with insurance? Do you have health benefits? Do you have a retirement account? All of these things have one thing in common.

Another turnoff is women who call me an idiot. (Without backup as to why as well) You must have some of those qualities that I listed in the turnoff section or else you would not have said that.

Another turnoff is women who believe in gender roles. "men are supposed to do this and women do this". What happened to the equality that women wanted??

People that don't care about their future is one thing. I don't care much for them either. And I agree that you should try your hardest to provide for yourself (and others if needed). But I don't think the ambition to earn money beyond what covers your basic expenses is something that should be praised as much as it does get praised in this society. A lot of people basically have a "the more money you have, the more successful you are" attitude and that's not only shallow, it's ridiculous. Each of us chooses what to prioritize in life, and to prioritize for example art over money is as valid and honorable as anything else.
