Two Bad Neighbours Homer: Hey! You owe me an apology. George: You owe _me_ an apology. If you were any kind of a father, you'd have disciplined that boy a long time ago. Ray: You want to step back, Sir? You're trampling the flowers. Homer: Ooh! Hiding behind your goons, eh, Bush? Well _you_ are a _wimp_! George: [with trembling lips] Wimp, am I? Agent Johnson, Agent Heintz, you men stand down. [the gate opens and Homer walks in] All right, Mister: you want trouble? You're going to get trouble. Homer: Oh, I want trouble, all right. George: Then you're going to get trouble. Homer: No, _you're_ going to get trouble. George: Oh, that's good, that's good, 'cause I _want_ trouble. Homer: Then we're agreed there'll be trouble. George: Oh, yeah, lots of trouble. Homer: Trouble it is. George: For you. [walks inside, slams door] Homer: For -- d'oh! 'Two Bad Neighbors' is one of my favouirte Simpsons episodes. Question is, do you have bad neighbours? I remember one guy named Walter when I was little never gave me my ball back when it went down his drive. He took it indoors and said he was going to pop it. Have you got neighbours or had neighbours from Hell?

My neighbours are all the time watching me, my dog, my boyfriend with stonished eyes and shuted mouth. One is giving me his newspapers cuz I like crosswords. Some of young ones are ok, they tell me I'm beautiful when I go out. The two below and under just bark and it's like living with them too. I was born in a house without close neighbours, where you can hear music and dance on the floor (loud). They adore my boyfriend and it makes me nervous.

Ex-Moderator | My upstairs neighbor had a new roommate move in and told her she could put a bunch of her stuff in my storage space. I discovered this just yesterday. I never put a lock on it cause I never thought I needed to. I went upstairs yesterday to find out who's stuff was in there and the poor girl didn't know she'd done anything wrong. I was very polite about it and told her she could leave a few things if she wished but that I couldn't even get to some of my boxes cause a bunch of her stuff was dropped haphazardly all over the room and that I'd like that to be cleared up within the week. I hate being the bad guy. But they shouldn't be taking my space. |

over the past 2 years my downstairs neighbor--this frail, elderly man--had been constantly harassing me by leaving notes on my door and continuously ringing my doorbell at 5 in the morning, because for some reason he thinks that i keep 'im up all night and make noise. thing of it is, i'm not the only tenant in our apartment building he's done this to over the years. he did the same thing to others on his own floor and the guy who lives downstairs from 'im.
he's super-close to getting evicted, so he's stopped bugging me...for now. but gawd, i can't stand the guy.

The guy that lives across the hall from me sleeps all day and then is up all night. most of the time it sounds like a herd of elephants in there. He has people knocking on his door at all hours, yet, no one ever goes inside. They talk in the hallway. Last week, I could have sworn he was selling drugs. He was standing at the front entrance of our building, he had been standing there for more than 20 minutes, then a car pulled up, he handed them something and the car drove away. When he noticed I was watching him, he turned and rushed away. Now, when I see him in the hallway, he can't even look at me. coward.
Thats all I need is a crack den next door. [Edited 10/7/05 8:48am]

Well, I own the unit that I live in. I have discussed the issue with the President of our condo board. They are looking in to it. It turns out that the guy across the hall is renting his unit from a condo owner who does not live in the building. I have contacted them personally and as it turns out, my nieghbour is their son. They are enraged. [Edited 10/7/05 9:03am] [Edited 10/7/05 9:04am]

Yeah.. a few years ago, there was a couple who used to fight every few weeks. I could actually hear them pushing each other against the walls. I could hear them throwing things at each other - it would make the floor shake -- cement floors. I kinda regret buying the condo now.

No, he is not the presidents son -- his parents own the condo that he rents. His parents are going to end up kicking his ass to the curb.

It is a small one bedroom unit, with a nice size kitchen, living room. and I just renovated the bathroom about a month ago. the condo is small but its mine. [Edited 10/7/05 9:17am]
