What Are You Listening To?? (Halloween Edition)

Mad World

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places
Worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere,
Going nowhere

Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression
No expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow
No tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad world
Mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen
Sit and listen

Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me
No one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me
Look right through me

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very...

Mad world
Mad world
Halogen world
Mad world

More like a loner, to be honest...I think that's why I relate to that movie so much.

A loner who's amiable and easy to interact with, who gives people advice, goes to meet orgers, reaches out and touches people by way of small but significant gestures like sending prints to them... hmmm

lol...something like that. More like a loner who really doesn't let too many people inside, is ok being by himself, tends to be more of a listener and confidante than someone who asks for help, an ear or a shoulder...feels disconnected and alone when with 95% of the people in his life...deals with everything internally.

It's pretty easy to be cynical, isn't it...I have my moments but the urge doesn't build too much, usually.

Killing Moon

Under blue moon I saw you
So soon you'll take me
Up in your arms, too late to beg you
Or cancel it, though I know it must be

The killing time
Unwillingly mine

Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him

In starlit nights I saw you
So cruelly you kissed me
Your lips a magic world
Your sky all hung with jewels

The killing moon
Will come too soon

Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him

Under blue moon I saw you
So soon you'll take me
Up in your arms, too late to beg you
or cancel it though I know it must be

The killing time
Unwillingly mine

Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him

Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him

You give yourself to him

La la la la la...

lol...Nope, no sequel...but Richard Kelly (the director) has a new movie coming out next year called Southland Tales that appears to be just as wild as Donnie Darko...definitely looking forward to that. nod
