I just received flowers.....from a female co-worker. I don't really know this person very well, she works in a different state, she's an older woman, and I only talk to her on the phone. I had some minor outpatient surgery performed and she sent me flowers wishing me to feel better. It's really nice, but kind of strange all at the same time.

I've never gotten flowers from a woman before so it feels kind of weird. I'm not sure how to take it. I guess just for the nice gesture that it is....right??

I'm sure she'd appreciate a thankyou - she's obviously a very thoughtful lady and concerned about your wellbeing.

you lucky cow! the only time I get flowers is if I put it on the shopping list or they are half price after Valentines Day (usually a bit droopy).
