I just got flowers....... I just received flowers.....from a female co-worker. I don't really know this person very well, she works in a different state, she's an older woman, and I only talk to her on the phone. I had some minor outpatient surgery performed and she sent me flowers wishing me to feel better. It's really nice, but kind of strange all at the same time.
I've never gotten flowers from a woman before so it feels kind of weird. I'm not sure how to take it. I guess just for the nice gesture that it is....right?? Ok I hit the wrong emoticon when I first listed this topic and not sure how to change it now....I really meant the smiley face....my bad! [Edited 10/5/05 14:10pm]

yes, I think it's a lovely gesture.
I'm sure she'd appreciate a thankyou - she's obviously a very thoughtful lady and concerned about your wellbeing.

Why is it strange?
I think that's very nice of her "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

I think that's very nice of her I guess it's strange to me because I've never gotten flowers from someone I really don't know very well and I've never gotten flowers from a woman. And I agree it was a very nice gesture from her.
