They have a nice list of Klezmer artists under Worldmusic/Jewish Folk. The real spirit is of course in the live aspect of many of these bands. While in Paris I used to frequent this bagelshop near the Centre Pompidou that would have live music on the weekends. Amazing to be in a small space, with loads of people that know good music. Awww, I miss that place. The owner is such a sweet old man; time for every one of his customers. I miss that place. |
