KATRINA PICTURES...

Not to detract from the tragedy that's gone on, but here are some photographs of Hurricane Katrina...

I'm not an expert, but Katrina was much larger than that, and there is no way there was such seperation from the storm and the regular atmosphere as you can see in those pics. Even as organised a storm as Katrina was, that's not how a hurricane looks.

Nice pics though regardless, that is what a very large tornado would look like, the fifth one down looks like some of the water spouts I've seen on the gulf here in florida.

I wouldn't be surprised if that second one and the one that is similar were part of the Hesston, KS torado a few years ago. The bitch was HUGE.....and while there was some photoshopping in these, I would imagine that the storms here were messy to begin with.....cool pics regardless.

Absolutely stunning.

It never fails to amaze me the wonder of the natural world.

shame that, they are amazing pics but I would have been more impressed had they not been photoshoped, it takes the edge off it somewhat. I thought they were real until I saw your comment as I've never seen a hurricane for real or been in the vicinity of a very large one. except for 2the9s :farts: of course.
