Achtung. I juzt got an ipod but I cantz zeem to get zer songs on album to play in ordur, they all mezzed up when they getz downloaded onto ipod machine. hav nein clue how to tag der songs like 1, 2, 3 zo they play in order. Can azyvun help me?

u gotta turn shuffle off

You must have your iPod Settings to Shuffle songs or shuffle albums. Set it to Shuffle off

Track don't need to be numbered to play in order but you can set your import preferences to create numbered track names if you wish (advanced - Import)

In that case select the files you want to order in your itunes library.
Right click the selection and select Get Info
You have track number (eg. 1 of 12 ) Edit this info so you have the right order
