I had a yak burger a few weeks ago. Yes, you read that right.

I traveled from Seattle down to Salem, Oregon, for a trial a few weeks ago, and my boss took me to a restaurant in southwest Washington state that serves burgers made from yaks. Apparently there's a local family farmer who raises them.

The burger was actually pretty tasty, and it's supposedly healthier than a beef hamburger. I want to keep my cholesterol level (currently 145) below 150.
