A friend of mine once lived in the house they all lived in for a while (much later, obviously). In fact, I lived just a few buildings down from there as well. We called it the punk rock house cause there were always about 10-15 punks living there at any given time. When the 'Mats were staying there they sound-proofed the house so they could record there. These later punks were able to throw crazy ass parties and never worry about noise problems. It was a hoot.
