I'm afraid it's all become a little banal...

I've seen him around but he hasn't been catching the same bus as me. I think he may be on a different shift as a lot of call-centre staff are on rotating shifts, like 9-5 for two weeks, then 10-6 the next and so on...

I did see him in the office this morning and he talked to me in this weird manner that he hadn't before. It was kind of direct and insincere. I prefered it when he mumbled on the bus... He said, "How's it going 'Little Fella'? I haven't seen you on the bus for a while. Got to go. Catch you later".

I mean... "Little Fella"? What does that mean? I'm about five-foot eight and hardly a string-bean.

I had the pleasure of Tracey at the bus-stop tonight. She was ranting on about her Asian team-mates at work "gossiping in their own language" when they could be gossiping in English, so she could join in. I just tuned out and pretended to sympathise. No doubt they've all been calling her a moaning bitch whilst she's been sat there bemused. Ha! Ha!

But as for Gareth, I'm afraid the spark has gone.

This story has a few problems in the third act. Please rewrite the ending. The masses want a resolution.
