See...I think many people that watched the DVD's aren't used to the story telling or waiting for the next thing. They are doing NOTHING different than last season. Maybe if you waited until the second season comes out, it might be a better experience. This is a SLOW cooking show. Many of us bitched about the season finale that gave us...nothing really. I think that for the most part the scripts for Season 3 aren't written but basic outlines are done. Season 2 is written and scripted. That's for sure. It has not been shot though.  'm on the "inside", and this is all have 2 say.
1. They couldn't get the "shark" to work well so they abandoned the idea. 2. Everything will be clear in the 3rd episode. 3. We see that after 45 days the "others" survivors will be discovered. Along with Jacks "other" girlfriend Ana-Lucia. There will be competition between Ana & Kate as well as competition between the two parties. Think "Survivor" but without the games. 4. Another main character dies this season. And NO, 'm not saying.

I heard that the character to die will be female. Though there have been rumblings that it might be Rousseau. Yes..everything will tidy up on episode 2.03. One has to think of the last 3 as an episode and the first 3 as an episode. Yes...all kind of issues between Kate/Sawyer/Ana/Jack Ana Lucea will have 2 back stories...one pre crash and one post crash. The flashbacks are important..and important to the story telling.  I don't pay attention to the previews. They are very unreliable...and tease too much. For this series...I have come to terms that it's going to be a long wait for stuff and that previews are going to be misleading.Christian Zombie Vampires | |

My boyfriend suggested they may turn it into a "Battle Royale" of sorts and people are going to start killing other people. That would be a pretty lame way to go out, though. That episode did suck. Really felt like they filmed one epiosde and strecthed it out to 2. The raft stuff was painful: the way Michael was written, I was rooting for him to be sharkfood. | |

As they show the pages in the comic use your pause feature. There may be hints about the origin of the island within those pages. | |

I think the story is ripe for a Lord Of the Flies type of theme.
