[Edited 9/29/05 12:47pm] that would be season 3...WOW. They have thought this that far down. I think though that "working on" probably means "idea roughly sketched out". I don't think so, Abrams said that the show is all worked out in explicit detail until the end. Season 3 is not that unrealistic considering they have season 2 "in the can."

i wondered how long it would before this show totally jumped the shark... i just didn't think it would be so damn soon WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF LOST! See...I think many people that watched the DVD's aren't used to the story telling or waiting for the next thing. They are doing NOTHING different than last season. Maybe if you waited until the second season comes out, it might be a better experience. This is a SLOW cooking show. Many of us bitched about the season finale that gave us...nothing really. Actually they have given us very little. It's not the parts though...it's the sum of the parts. I can't wait until they get to that 3 week break sometime in Nov. Christian Zombie Vampires

'm on the "inside", and this is all have 2 say.
1. They couldn't get the "shark" to work well so they abandoned the idea. 2. Everything will be clear in the 3rd episode. 3. We see that after 45 days the "others" survivors will be discovered. Along with Jacks "other" girlfriend Ana-Lucia. There will be competition between Ana & Kate as well as competition between the two parties. Think "Survivor" but without the games. 4. Another main character dies this season. And NO, 'm not saying. 5. More freakin' flashbacks...

Though there have been rumblings that it might be Rousseau. Yes..everything will tidy up on episode 2.03. One has to think of the last 3 as an episode and the first 3 as an episode. Yes...all kind of issues between Kate/Sawyer/Ana/Jack Ana Lucea will have 2 back stories...one pre crash and one post crash. The flashbacks are important..and important to the story telling. Seeing as we have 14 characters to go over...it's a lot...but not a lot. Christian Zombie Vampires

I don't pay attention to the previews. They are very unreliable...and tease too much. For this series...I have come to terms that it's going to be a long wait for stuff and that previews are going to be misleading. Christian Zombie Vampires

superspaceboy said: thescandalouslife said: I also thnk they are the rest of the plane's survivors, although I don't know why they would be so violent toward Jin. Maybe there is going to be some sort of battle. My boyfriend suggested they may turn it into a "Battle Royale" of sorts and people are going to start killing other people. That would be a pretty lame way to go out, though. I just wanna watch the damn thing all the way through and be done with it...enough of this waiting bullshit. And they CANNOT keep at this show for TOO long - people will get sick of the shit, stop watching, and wait it out until the series finale...it better not turn into a Gilligan's Island drama-style. Well, Jin speaks NO english. I fear that they haven't had as swell of a time on a golf course as the front of the plane survivors...probably NO doctor or food from the plane. Who knows if they have been as resourseful as the front half. And if they are on the other side of the island...and I think that's the Dark Territory...they could have resorted to a more feral society, and could have encountered the others. I am actually surprised that the front end plane survivors have done so well. SO...I suspect that Jin may not have been a welcome person to them...I know I'd be skeptical after seeing Ethan. Oh and I hope this series goes on for a certain length...like 5 seasons would be optimal. Very plausible theory! I imagine the two sides of the island will remain fractured. The ones on the back of the plane probably reverted to some sort of "Lord of the Flies"-type behavior - something like the strongest survive - which would explain their menacing stances and muscular-looking figures.

That episode did suck. Really felt like they filmed one epiosde and strecthed it out to 2. The raft stuff was painful: the way Michael was written, I was rooting for him to be sharkfood.

People who have been there for a long time, hence "the others." The "french chick" said she had never seen "the others" -- she had only heard their whispers in the jungle. Lord of the flies is a good premise, but far too easy. hint: If you have the DVD go to the episode where walt is looking through the comic book. As they show the pages in the comic use your pause feature. There may be hints about the origin of the island within those pages.

I think the story is ripe for a Lord Of the Flies type of theme. No one trusts each other from the "front end" and if the "back end" are having the time I think they are having...it is going to get a little ferral. Christian Zombie Vampires

He's a recurring character on 24 as well. He barely knew any Korean beofre lost and the girl who plays Sun had to coach him. Christian Zombie Vampires

Maybe he is with the "others" That's Rose (I know her name simply becasue I have been championing her to be a regular cast member). Based on all of the clues I have heard and that her "speech" has really resonated with the audience as well as in the retrospective they show her 2ce (along with the speech). I am pretty certain we'll see him (and her) again. Ana Lucia's character pretty much confirms that there are back of the plane survivors. Now that I think about it. Is the person that played Rose the new character in "Desperate Houswives"? All Rights Reserved. |
