The mrs just went downstairs to cook up two packs of noodles with some egg and pork mince. I eat all kinds of things for breakfast like yoghurt and fruit, toast, noodle soup, fried rice, barbecued pork, spicy soup... There's no difference here.

No no im aware that they eat noodles for breakfast in Asian countries. Just tryin to imagine what that may be like- you know, for instance im used to the earlier options you mentioned- like yoghurt and fruit and toast etc! It would be an interesting experience to go the noodlez one morning for breaky. No hablo espanol,no!

When i was in indonesia earlier this summer, i remember asking a native to take me somewhere with an american breakfast (i was really starting to crave one, it had been a couple of weeks since i had eaten eggs, etc.) Well, on our way to whereever he was like "Hey let me grab something quick first, i don't like american breakfast". He stopped off at some random vendor on the street for some noodles, though he reccomended i don't eat any.

I get that sometimes here, but I think my body's pretty much used to it now. When I was in Malaysia I just got sick of rice and noodles and had to have a full English breakfast or sometimes even a quarter pounder with cheese just to have something fatty and western. Here in Bangkok a few times I've gone all the way across Bangkok the morning after a night of drinking to eat Subway in the only Subway I'm aware of in Thailand.
