Ok, so whenever I go to Taco Bell, KFC, Subway or other drive-thrus I have no problem with the food order and pop. Everything is always accounted for, food, straws, etc.

But whenever I go to a McDonald's drive thru before I leave I always check that everything is accounted for before I drive away. I notice they seem to not put in enough straws or none at all, if you don't ask for the packets of ketchup or other condiments, you won't get - and they don't ask. And they screw up the order and you don't get some of what you ordered or you get what you did not order. It's time McDonalds replaced high school students with mature staff. Are they just there for the pay cheque? more than likely.. Customer service has gone downhill.

They don't pay much though. They like hiring people without ambition. Plus, they like hiring youngsters who will feel they are just using it as a stepping stone (and so will accept the low pay) but who oftentimes end up staying a while. Still, McDonalds don't mind perpetuating the idea of the jobs as being temporary stepping stones.

The McDonalds I go 2 is usually pretty good. The few times they screwed up my order actually worked in my favor. I order nothing more than a double cheesburger and a small drink, and then I look in the bag and they give me a whole value meal...

One time I went 2 a KFC and ordered a #7, which was a chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. The guy on the other side of the crappy intercom system thought I said #11, and so I pull up 2 the window and he's charging me like $17.00 for a 15-piece bucket deal.

U just never know what could go down at a drive-thru...

McDonalds have youngsters because they can pay them less and they are comfortable with having a massive turnover.

That's why they're so successful. They screw their employees, they screw their providers, they screw you by not giving you your ketchup unless you ask for it, and they screw the environment.

And they make loads of money. Perfect company.

I LOATHE McDonalds, and refuse to go there. There are many reasons why, frog mentioned a few of them.

Let's not forget how incredibly NUTRITIOUS all their food is.
