Had a Close Call Today

I went to the bank machine today to get some cash out. As I was exiting from my car and walking across the aisle in the parking lot, all of a sudden, this car came around the corner (going a little too fast) and started driving straight towards me! omfg pissed Of course, I got pissed (because I was taken off guard and was angry) and started hollering at the older woman driving the car, "Hey, watch where you're going!! What the hell is wrong with you?!?!" The woman did not even stop, she just kind of steered her car around me and kept driving. pissed disbelief Stupid bitch, she was an older woman who probably should not have been driving in the first place. Some older drivers are worse than kids just learning how to drive, since their reflexes are slower, and they tend to do stupid things. The woman is lucky that I didn't have my cell phone with me, or I would have gotten her license plate number and reported her to the police!

Of course, people heard me yelling, and were looking at me (my voice is quite loud). I continued to cross the parking lot and got onto the sidewalk near where the stores were, and a few people were looking at me, because they saw what happened. One woman said to me, "Sheesh, that woman practically ran you over!" I said, "I know, and she didn't even stop to say she was sorry or anything! Unbelievable!" Now I know people don't normally apologize for anything anymore, but it seems to me that if you practically run somebody over (practically killing them), you would want to at least stop, apologize and make sure that they're okay (stupid bitch driver!).

I keep picturing what would have happened if that woman would have hit me. I would have been flung into the parked cars in the lot, SHIT, I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED, and all's this idiot driver can do is keep driving like it never happened?! Like I said, it was the woman's lucky day in that 1) She did not hit me (but came damn near close) and 2) I didn't have my cell phone with me, or I would have been on the phone with the cops right then and there. The woman probably should not have even been driving, she's probably half out of it anyway, to do something as careless as that. pissed It pisses me off that I didn't get her license plate number (but it happened so fast, and I didn't have a pen or paper with me), even if I wasn't able to call the cops from my cell phone, I could have called from either a pay phone or my home phone.

Guess the moral of this story folks, is to ALWAYS take your cell phone with you. From now on whenever leaving the house, it's coming with me no matter what.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

They sure do, and what's even more sad is that people are getting more sucky as time goes on.

touched hug You know, you're right, it could have been alot worse. If I would have been struck by the car, I could have wound up dead or a paraplegic. Thank God that did not happen; I must have had an angel on my shoulder or something.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
