No, it isn't. That's what makes it so hard.

Yes, I'm just about to summarize my conclusions as follows: "It is therefore my well-founded opinion that tractors are hazardous to a child's cerebral development. In some cases, early age exposure to above mentioned vehicle can result in the serious disease Annoyingashellandpartypooperitis."

My long term future seems pretty well mapped out. When the kids are all at school my very small business will continue and I will take a job part time as well. That is what I want to do for the sake of consistency and variety. Travel will be on the cards once the boys are old enough.
It's the short term that bugs me to hell. If I don't have plans for the next day I might as well forget it, nothing will happen, guaranteed. I hate weekends, they are so seductively filled with promise and potential. They nearly always pass by undifferentiated to normal weekdays and Mondays always come as a relief because the expectations have gone again.

I just go with the flow....whatever happens happens. I'd lose it if I spent every minute worrying about the future.

This fall I still don't know what the hell I'm going to do. I'm hoping to work in Japan, but I might as well end up starting my own business in Stockholm. In effect, big building blocks of life such as the proximity of friends, acquaintances and family is completely undecided as well as career and cultural environment. Would this be mostly exciting to you or would it mostly freak you out? Of course it's easy to say that a combination of planning and sponaneity is preferable, but which of the two extremes are you leaning more towards and why?

Personally I'm leaning towards "planning" if you look at roughly a one half-to-three-year perspective. Everything below and above that is best kept unplanned, in my opinion. But of course I change my mind all the time. rolleyes

I have no idea of what my life will b in 5 years & i just LOVE it!!!

So many possibilities biggrin

That may well be true. I have had a hell of a good time.
The grass is always greener, eh?

nod It sure seems to be.

I can tell that you've had a good time though. It's become a part of you, a part of your attitude and something you can fall back on when the skies are grey. It's a precious thing, really.

Why, that's a really nice thing to say.

I know how you feel. I sometimes choke on my ambitions when the summer holiday comes up and I end up doing close to nothing, which in turn depresses the hell out of me.

As long as it's different than the day before, you shouldn't care too much... wink

I'm more of a planner, I like some security.

But in my plans there is always a possibility for unexpected situations that can change the plan completely. You can't predict your future and how well your plans come together.

i have to feel secure also, therefore i'm always thinking what i'm going to do with my life in the future, the only flipside to that is the unexpected events that put roadblocks in your way. Being spontaneous is good, but i like to have a some kind of idea of where i'm going first before I take the nosedive.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
