anyone catch this ....

i found it interesting ... i did not see it all ... i had heard some of the "hype " on martin scorsece doing the work on this "documentary" ... i saw some of it last night ... i found it interesting- not being a huge fan of Dylan's .... i learned alot ! the whole thing with how they "created " peter paul and mary .... and Dylan just being himself and his role in the "civil rights" times .... Since Prince is taking a hiatus ... maybe i will have to start listening to ole bob dylan stuff to learn more ...

I saw part of it. As much as I like some of Dylan's work, he is a world-class liar (perhaps only rivalled by Prince). It's too funny to watch him blow all his B.S. by Scorsese unchallenged.

i'm looking forward to catching this on DVD.

i must admit -- everytime dylan was on -- i found it hard to hear what he was saying .... i had the tv turned down for my kids were sleeping

hmmm does Prince lie ??? maybe he and Mayte are still "its all good" like in the Oprah interview after the death of their child .... and he is still working on that childrens song album ... and the concert with ALI is gonna happen ... and the musicology dvd is coming out soon ... and ... oh well ... u get my jist ...

i don't think prince lies as much as he doesn't really place much of a premium on interviews. he doesn't exactly enjoy opening a vein for the public, and if he's going to be forthcoming about anything, it's going to be music-related.

Tough call. I'd say Dylan is slightly worse, in that he's invented an entire revisionist history of his life before he was in the public eye.
