Is it supposed to compete Formula One's Championship ?

Well, dunno if its to compete, as the country format makes it a bit different to F1. But if it takes off and F1 continues to struggle with finances and keeping the various teams happy it may end up doing so. But the series runs mostly out of the F1 season, so it shouldn't be direct competition.
But the F1 drivers and teams have been discussing a break away series of their own, which sounds good too.....although F1 is still the best [Edited 9/24/05 13:42pm] Mada, Yeah thats me. AND WHAT
