You can get 6/$1.00...I usually get $5 worth and take one to work everyday.

ohhh man, i used to live off of ramen noodles (always with hot sauce! drooling)...then it got to the point where i can't even look at a package of 'em. i still eat 'em, but only if i'm REALLY strapped for cash.

Hiya, Kiss!! hug

My cheapo favorite: Lipton Rice & Sauce or Pasta & Sauce. They're like 79 cents a bag.

Hey Hey Hey! hug biggrin

The Lipton packs are good, I always get either chicken flavored rice or the spanish rice and sprinkle cheddar cheese on it drool

Or, I'd just go to Aldi's and get a coupla boxes of that "off brand" rice-a-roni wink

Eating all that organic, light, diet shit you're probably gonna end up with a tumor the size of a beach ball one day. My favorite CHEAP meal. Cheap as in meaning when you have absolutely no money, will probably be microwaved roaches with a single rat turd placed on there back so it could melt on top like a glaze. I'm like the derelict Martha Stewert.

1. scrambled eggs (about 20 cents for two)

2. proscuitto, tomato, & mozzerella or goat cheese on scandanavian wheat toast ,preferably onion flavored... (about 20 cents per crisp)

3. homemade dal (30 cents for a 2 bowl serving)

4. spicy roast chicken (about 50 cents to cook 2 leg quarters)

5. caprese salad with extra virgin olive oil ( 1.00...mozzerella is HELLA cheap in germany, with one ball water packed in the cheapest markets costing 49-55 CENTS!)

6. chicken noodle soup with fresh ginger (about 2.50 to make a BIG pot in the winter)

7. my mom's alabama mustard greens cooked with a a BIG OLE hunk of bacon or fatback, and served with louisianna hot sauce (2.50 for a gigantic pot that takes me three days to eat)

8.spagetti bolognese (what we americans know as regular spagetti with meat sauce...(about 1.50 for a medium pot serving)

9. thai style yellow curry and brown rice (3.50 or less depending on what meat, fish, or veggies and brand of coconut milk i use..)

10. and my "trend meal" at the moment, brown rice sprinkled with soy sauce, super hot chinese chilies and japanese seaweed based condiment called 'Maguri Furikake' (about 60 cents)...about 6 months ago my 'trend meal' was mediterranean seafood salad: a pre-frozen mix of shrimp, mussels, calamari and crab that runs for 4 bucks at german walmart, and after defrosting i would toss it with garlic oil and balsamic vinegar and throw it over rucola greens and tomato, about 4 bucks per serving i think....

Do you cook or fry it after defrosting or is it already pre-cooked _? I know the mussels are pre-cooked, but what about the calamari and shrimps ?
I´m asking because I want to make such a salad today or tomorrow.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Where in the world do you find prosciutto as a cheap eat? I love it, but it's pricey for some ham.
