What's your favourite super cheap meal to eat at home? I was actually thinking of ordering McDonalds tonight, but by the time the already paltry fries arrive they've shrunk and withered away to nothing.
So instead I thought I'd have my usual cheap and cheerful meal of plain white rice with this sour pork sausage stuff with chili in, and a little soy sauce on top. Total cost? About 15 baht, or the equivalent of 37 cents. I'm addicted to it and never get bored. What are your cheap favourites to eat at home? | |

Very true. Pasta with a little pesto stirred in is cheap and tasty. When I was a student I used to eat pasta with peas and mayonnaise.
