second sight, spiritual healings and seeing dead people I have a friend who insists that her son sees dead people. I also have a relative who informed me that she has this ability also.
anyone else know of people like this? do you believe? I tend to want proof, you know visually or something concrete. But this relative is very close to me, her credibility is intact, her mind is sound, no history of psychological disturbance etc.. she recently came to accept this part of herself. I want to support her and "be there" but I guess i am a doubting thomas. any input???? on Christmas eve last year, Me, my daughter and my sister in law were sitting in my mothers home. My brother and his wife moved in after my mom passed away. On the wall, my mother had this huge mirror that I was sitting under and Lori (my sister in law) was facing. Lori looks up and says "Hey Ron, what are you doing". I was like WTF is she talking about because I'm looking in the direction she's looking in the mirror.
She then says, "Ron wasn't just standing their". I was like...huh no...my brother wasn't there. She gets up and goes into the bed room. My brother was asleep. She comes back very wide-eyed. I asked her to describe what she saw. She said she saw someone who looked like my brother, bald head in a white gown. Both me and my daughter started freaking out. When my mother died, she was completely bald from the chemotherapy and she was buried in white gown. Another story: Just recently, my uncle was rushed to the hospital. While he was there, he was having problems breathing but he didnt want the oxygen mask on his face. He kept saying, "Charlotte, make them stop. Take this off of my face". Just as my uncle was saying this, my brother walks in the room. My brother said he was just standing there in shock because he saw my mother standing over my uncle. My uncle died soon afterwards. This was this past July. Lastly, I have a friend who can hear ppl and her mother and other family members can see ppl. My girlfriend doesn't want to see anyone so they don't appear to her but she can tell you who is in the room. Her mother has said she's always been able to see those who have passed on. I believe it because they have told me things that I have NO idea how they would know. My friends mother believes everyone can see and experience the same thing if you're open to it. They both said though, you need to be prayed up because not everything you see are nice and friendly.

My ex-roommate sees dead people. He says he doesn't see them like ghosts. They look pretty solid.
When he was living in my house he used to always see a little girl. He never got the chance to talk to her though. One day I was talking to my roommate and I noticed him look over my shoulder towards the kitchen. I stopped talking and said "Okay, what did you see." He said that he saw something brown pass by behind me and go into the kitchen. I asked if it was shorter or taller than me. He said taller. I told him that it couldn't be my mom (passed away in 1994). It kept nagging on me. My cousin had died about a month prior. He was taller than me. Well I told my cousins about it and one of them says " That was Ernie. He died with the brown jacket that he always wore."

i use read cards for people, a german deck similar to tarot. most of the time, i was pretty accurate, but it could have just been intuition, too. i have not read cards in a while because i'm really not that focused on the future anymore. now is where it's at.

oh...i need to mention my nephew. He has some weird stuff with him. There was this one time when he asked his mother when will his batman pjs arrive from his grandmother. Lori just looked at him and said, what are you talking about Braxton? Later in the day, the mail came...and there was his batman pjs that his grandmother sent as a surprise. Even his mother didn't know they were coming.
he also knows who is calling before you answer the phone and he also has seen my mother.
