(snap back to reality edit) i don't see it as a return to reality, other than the reality of which i want to be part....working second shift has been way too much of a 'reality bites' experience, actually. seeing what the city is like late at night and seeing what your neighborhood is like when everyone's away at work isn't always pretty. actually, i think i'll be more of a freak once i'm back to a day schedule, because i'll be able to pursue more of my wacky creative stuff. the only bummer i can think of right now is that i won't have the gym to myself like i did when i could stroll in at 11am, but ah well...

Reminded me of something from a Fawlty Towers episode... * I don't know where I'd be without this night shift... in the land of the living, probably. *(paraphrased) tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 [Edited 9/19/05 19:21pm] "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. if you have any wake-up tips, please share. none yet. and I wasn't even a night worker, just a late morning starter and then an all-day on call kind of shift. waking up at 7:30ish for the last week and a half ain't been easy. I'm loving the job, so that helps. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista
